About Course

Primary math, also referred to as elementary math or early math, is a category of mathematics that covers topics that are typically learned in early education. The topics learned in primary math, including tools, concepts, etc., provide a foundation for learning mathematics.

Test your knowledge of the skills in this course. Have a test coming up? The Course challenge can help you understand what you need to review.

  • This practical coaching program covers fundamental mathematical ideas and procedures from the fifth grade, such as multiplication, division, measurements, integers, and fractions.
  • Students learn from qualified math teachers who employ a clear-cut and entertaining method of instruction that makes it simple for them to comprehend basic mathematical ideas and makes studying enjoyable.
  • The quizzes that come with each session are intended to assist teachers and parents assess how well their children comprehend the subject matter.
  • For students entering the fifth grade, who want to complement their academic work in class, this course is ideal.
  • When revisiting material they already know or learning new material, students might gain from mobile-friendly lessons. In order to offer students fresh learning opportunities, or to give homework assignments, quizzes, and examinations in class, teachers can use video courses in the classroom. These lessons can be used by parents to help their children with their assignments and homework or to develop an exciting and engaging curriculum for their homeschooled children.

Through a series of lessons on multiplication, division, place value, fractions, and decimals, this course covers the fundamental concepts of the grade 5 math curriculum.

The purpose of these courses is to encourage your child to actively participate in the online classroom. The teaching methods employed in.

What Will You Learn?

  • For the students to comprehend why multiplying and dividing fractions make sense, they employ the definitions of fractions, multiplication, and division.
  • They also gain knowledge of how fractions and decimals relate to one another.
  • The volume of three-dimensional space will become clearer to the students as a concept.
  • They will pick up techniques for approaching and resolving issues with volume estimating and measurement.

Course Content

Unit 01 – Numbers and Arithmetic Operation
A number is an arithmetic value used to represent the quantity and make calculations. Arithmetic operations is a branch of mathematics, that involves the study of numbers, and operation of numbers that are useful in all the other branches of mathematics. It comprises operations such as Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division.

Unit 02 – HCF and LCM
The H.C.F. defines the greatest factor present in between given two or more numbers, whereas L.C.M. defines the least number which is exactly divisible by two or more numbers. H.C.F. is also called the greatest common factor (GCF) and LCM is also called the Least Common Divisor.

Unit 03 – Fraction
A fraction represents a part of a whole or, more generally, any number of equal parts. When spoken in everyday English, a fraction describes how many parts of a certain size there are, for example, one-half, eight-fifths, three-quarters

Unit 04 – Decimal and Percentage
In mathematics, decimals and percentages both represent numbers that are not whole. Explore how to identify decimals and percents, and learn how to change a number from a decimal to a percent, as well as from a percent to a decimal, how to convert decimals to fractions, as well as how to convert fractions to decimals. Work on problems to gain more understanding.

Unit 05 – Distance, Time, Temperature
Distance is a numerical description of how far apart two objects are, and time is used to quantify, measure, or compare the duration of events or the intervals between them, and even, sequence events, while temperature is a measurement of how hot or cold something is. In this lesson, we will learn the mathematical formula for determining the distance, and conversion of the units, and will perform addition and subtraction.

Unit 06 – Unitary Method
The unitary method is a process by which we find the value of a single unit from the value of multiple units and the value of multiple units from the value of a single unit. It is a method that we use for most calculations in math. You will find this method useful while solving questions on ratio and proportion.

Unit 07- Geometry
GEOMETRY: The definition of geometry is a branch of math that focuses on the measurement and relationship of lines, angles, surfaces, solids, and points. An example of geometry is the calculation of a triangle's angles.

Unit 08 – Perimeter and Area
Area and Perimeter is an important topic in Mathematics, which is used in everyday life. This applies to any shape and size whether it is regular or irregular. Every shape has its area and perimeter formula. You must have learned about different shapes such as triangles, squares, rectangles, circles, spheres, etc.

Unit 09 – Information Handling
Data handling is considered one of the most important topics in statistics as it deals with collecting sets of data, maintaining security, and preservation of the research data. The data here is a set of numbers that help in analyzing that particular set or set of data. Data handling can be represented visually in the form of graphs. Let us learn more about this interesting concept, and the different graphs used, and solve a few examples for better understanding.
