About Course

All scientific students, from beginners to experts and science enthusiasts, have science as their starting point. The course is jam-packed with practical instructions that any learner hoping to advance in science can use. You will be astounded to learn everything you need to know about studying science in this course, which can be accessed on any device.

The fields of science known as mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology are referred to as the basic sciences. They are referred to as basic sciences because they offer a fundamental comprehension of natural occurrences and the procedures that change natural resources. You will gain the fundamental knowledge required for a solid scientific foundation in this course.

You’ll also adore this course due to the clever integration of videos, articles, photos, and other engagement activities like quizzes and projects. You are given a wealth of resources for reference as soon as the course begins. Videos are crucial in many ways.

Course Content

Chapter 01 – Classification of Living Things
The classification of living things involves organizing life forms based on shared characteristics. The word taxonomy is the term used to describe the classification of living things. The basic taxonomy of living things includes six kingdoms.

  • Introduction to the main kingdoms
    01:58
  • Classification and characteristics of animals
    06:52
  • 04:51
  • Classification of Flowering and Non-flowering Plants
    04:14
  • Science Lab: Flowering and Non-flowering Plants
  • Characteristics of monocot and dicot plants
    03:44
  • Let’s Try

Chapter 02 – Microorganisms
An organism that can be seen only through a microscope. Microorganisms include bacteria, protozoa, algae, and fungi.

Chapter 03 – Seeds, Their Structure and Germination
The seed consists of three components: embryo, endosperm (sometimes perisperm), and seed-coat.

Chapter 04 – Environmental Pollution
The contamination of the physical and biological components of the earth/atmosphere system to such an extent that normal environmental processes are adversely affected.

Chapter 05 – Matter and Changes in its States
State changes are physical changes in matter. They are reversible changes that do not involve changes in matter's chemical makeup or chemical properties. Common changes in the state include melting, freezing, sublimation, deposition, condensation, and vaporization.

Chapter 06 – Force and Machines
This topic explores the key concepts of force, motion and machines as they relate to • forces • motion and inertia • Newton’s laws of motion • force and pressure • energy • machines.

Chapter 07 – Properties and Behavior of Light
Light has the unique property that it can be described in physics as both a wave and a stream of particles called photons

Chapter 08 – Electricity and Magnetism
Electricity is the presence and motion of charged particles. On the other hand, magnetism refers to the force that the magnets exert when they attract or repel each other.

Chapter 09 – Soils
Soil is the loose surface material that covers most land. It consists of inorganic particles and organic matter. Soil provides the structural support to plants used in agriculture and is also their source of water and nutrients.

Chapter 10 – Our Solar System
The Solar System is the gravitationally bound system of the Sun and the objects that orbit it.
