Chapter 03 – Seeds, Their Structure and Germination
The seed consists of three components: embryo, endosperm (sometimes perisperm), and seed-coat.

Chapter 04 – Environmental Pollution
The contamination of the physical and biological components of the earth/atmosphere system to such an extent that normal environmental processes are adversely affected.

Chapter 05 – Matter and Changes in its States
State changes are physical changes in matter. They are reversible changes that do not involve changes in matter's chemical makeup or chemical properties. Common changes in the state include melting, freezing, sublimation, deposition, condensation, and vaporization.

About Lesson

Microorganisms

  • Tiny living things that are too small to see with the naked eye.
  • They include bacteria, viruses, fungi, and more.
  • Play important roles in ecosystems, health, and more.

Bacteria, viruses and fungi - YouTube

Viruses

  • Extremely small microbes that need a host cell to reproduce.
  • They can cause diseases in humans, animals, and plants.
  • Examples: Common cold, flu, COVID-19.

Bacteria

  • Single-celled microorganisms with various shapes (spherical, rod-shaped, spiral).
  • Found everywhere: in soil, water, air, and even in our bodies.
  • Some bacteria are helpful (like those in our digestive system), while others can cause diseases.

Fungi

  • Organisms that include mushrooms, molds, and yeasts.
  • Different from plants and animals, but they share characteristics.
  • They obtain nutrients by breaking down organic matter.
